FINE BY NATURE SMALL GROUP TOURS

It is recommended that all travellers adopt a sense of adventure, an easy going outlook and the ability to ‘expect the unexpected’ while touring with FINE BY NATURE. It is our expectation that all travellers will respect fellow passengers and understand that they themselves and their behaviour are the key for an enjoyable travel experience.

ABILITY TO TRAVEL
A minimum level of health and fitness is required to be able to participate on a Sisterhood tour and we reserve the right to decline any booking request in this regard. As a minimum you will need to be able to walk 2km on uneven ground, carry your own luggage, to walk up a few flights of stairs, and to generally be able to participate in the tour without special assistance from us.

We rely on the information you provide on our ‘Fit to Travel’ form completed as part of your booking request and as updated as necessary. You warrant that the information you provide is accurate and there are no other medical issues (both physical/mental) that may impact your ability to participate in the tour without the need for special assistance. Women with disabilities are welcome on all SWT tours provided you are accompanied by an able bodied companion and do not require special assistance from SWT personnel. SWT reserves the right to exclude any person from a tour if SWT acting reasonably is of the opinion that the individual requires special assistance for a condition not previously fully disclosed.

If your circumstances change following your completion of the ‘Fit to Travel’ form, then you must notify us as soon as reasonably possible, and in any circumstance prior to travel. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if your changed circumstances mean you will require special assistance from SWT personnel during the tour. We suggest that your travel insurance (which you are obliged to have in place under these Terms) includes comprehensive cancellation coverage.

SWT will not be liable for any damage, injury, death or loss of any kind arising from your failure to disclose relevant medical information.

EXCLUSION FROM TOUR
You may be excluded from any tour at our discretion if you fail to comply with our reasonable instructions whilst on tour, or if we acting reasonably determine that you are interfering with other client’s enjoyment of the tour, or if you require special assistance due to an existing medical condition or disability not disclosed to us. If we exclude you from the tour on this basis, then you acknowledge that you will not be entitled to any refund for any remaining portion of the tour and you will be responsible for all costs associated with your onward travel and repatriation.

PRE & POST TOUR ARRANGEMENTS
Whilst we recognise that travellers may wish to add their own pre/post arrangements to our tours, we are happy to assist with an additional handling fee of $100.

Minimum Numbers
All tours are subject to minimum numbers. We will advise you no less than 28 days prior to travel if minimum numbers have not been achieved. If a tour falls below the minimum number required for a fully escorted tour, SWT reserves the right but is not obliged, to operate the tour escorted by a local guide upon arrival to your destination and in this circumstance no reduction in price will be applicable.
If SWT cancels a tour due to lack of numbers, you will have the option to receive a full refund or to transfer to an alternative tour. If the cost of the alternative tour is less expensive than the original tour then we will refund you the difference, and if the alternative tour is more expensive then you agree to pay the difference. If a tour is cancelled for failure to achieve minimum numbers, then SWT will not be responsible for any costs you incur due to the cancellation (including for the avoidance of doubt the cost of any airfares or travel insurance). You acknowledge that the provisions of this clause are necessary to protect the legitimate business interests of SWT.

COVID Travel Protocols
The covid-19 pandemic is a worldwide crisis and we are constantly managing and adapting our travelling environment to adhere to the current covid safe guidelines. The wellbeing of our sisters and staff is always foremost but it’s important to recognise that there is an increased risk of covid-19 and other infections whilst on holiday. Our measures will continue to be updated in line with best practice and destination Government guidelines, and you can keep updated with these guidelines by visiting smartraveller.gov.au

It will come as no surprise that every traveller must be fully vaccinated (according to Australian Government schedule) including boosters as required/mandated. Please ensure you have the official covid-19 digital certificate downloaded on your device, and if travelling overseas, your International Vaccination Certificate. It is always good practice to bring a printed copy with you on tour.
Sisterhood Womens Travel works in partnership with all our suppliers to ensure that relevant covid-19 regulations are being adhered to. You also have a responsibility to safeguard yourself and others. Please do not commence your travel if you are unwell. Personal hygiene standards must be maintained and it is recommended to wear a mask whilst onboard any transportation. We recommend you bring additional hand sanitiser and masks (consider N95 mask for better protection). You may wish to bring Rapid Antigen tests for your own use and peace of mind. When travelling, we will abide by the current local regulations/restrictions imposed relevant to the country we are visiting.
Sisterhood Central, as well as your tour hostess, monitor all government advisory services and travel alerts daily.
Participation on any tour is a personal choice by you, and therefore you should take into consideration all risks including any pre-existing health issues that may predispose you to increased risk, particularly in relation to covid-19.

What happens if a traveller exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 whilst on tour

Cancellations due to COVID-19
If we have to cancel ANY tour due to COVID-19 restrictions with regards to border restrictions and travel bans, we will do our best to obtain a credit or refund. Each tour will be on a case by case basis and we cannot guarantee that any credit will be transferable to another tour as we use many suppliers each with their own COVID cancellation policies. SWT cannot be responsible for your unavailability on any re-scheduled tour date due to COVID-19 and as such travel insurance is essential.
