Autumn Holidays

We think that Autumn is the best time to travel in our region!  Here are a few reasons why we recommend Autumn touring:

Autumn Colours

The season, known locally as "ruska", in Finland paints the landscape in a spectacular array of colours. From the ground covers in Lapland to the scenic lakesides in the south, the entire region becomes a photographer’s dream.

Aurora Borealis

Autumn is an excellent time to witness the Northern Lights. The nights are long enough for the Aurora Borealis to make an appearance, yet the temperatures are not as harsh as in the winter. The clear, crisp autumn skies provide perfect conditions for viewing this natural wonder.

Milder Weather

Autumn offers a pleasant climate for outdoor activities. The temperatures are cooler than summer but still comfortable for exploring. Whether hiking through national parks, picking berries in the forests, or enjoying a peaceful boat ride on a lake, the weather is ideal for outdoor adventures.

Fewer Crowds

Travelling in autumn means fewer tourists compared to the busy summer and winter seasons. This allows for a more intimate experience with our region's natural beauty and cultural sites.

Below you can find a couple of tours for inspiration! We are happy to tailor-make a tour that suits you interests!
