Blue Therapy involves spending time near bodies of water - like lakes, rivers, or the ocean - to enhance mental well-being. This practice is shown to promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, boost creativity, and improve overall mood. Water has a unique ability to lower cortisol, the stress hormone, and increase serotonin, which stabilises mood and promotes feelings of happiness. Whether by the lake or simply taking a shower, being near water helps us feel more present and at ease.

On this holiday you will spend time at Kuru wellness retreat designed exclusively for adults, set amid a tranquil pine forest. Each private villa, complete with its own sauna, features expansive windows that seamlessly blend the indoors with the natural surroundings, fostering an atmosphere of deep relaxation. Every element, from the carefully selected scents to the choice of materials, is meticulously crafted to enhance your well-being.

The Resort offers daily wellness classes, featuring a range of activities such as breathing exercises, meditation, sound baths, and gentle yoga. Each day of your stay includes a relaxation session, ensuring you experience tranquility and rejuvenation throughout your visit.

  • Accommodation in a Villa with private sauna

Tour Itinerary

Day 1:  Arrival
After check-in your Villa, relax before enjoying  a dinner at a restaurant in the neighbouring Järvisydän resort.

Day 2: Boat Trip to Saimaa Archipelago
Breakfast is delivered to your Villa.

Spend an unforgettable day at Saimaa Archipelago. This boat tour takes you to Linnansaari National Park,  one of the most beautiful locations at Lake Saimaa. We dock at Linnavuori pier. From the pier, you can take a walk to Linnavuori, the national park’s most breathtaking viewpoint. From the hilltop, enjoy panoramic views of Lake Saimaa and its charming archipelago. The island also features nature trails, though be prepared for its hilly and rocky terrain.

After return to the resort from the day's outing it's time to enjoy timeless Finnish tradition offering a perfect way to embrace relaxation. On the shore of the tranquil lake, you'll find charming lakeside saunas where you can enjoy the gentle steam and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water.

Enjoy dinner at a restaurant in the neighbouring Järvisydän resort.

Day 3: Seal Watching Cruise
Enjoy breakfast at your Villa.

The large-eyed Saimaa Ringed Seal is one of the world's most endangered and rare seals. This ice-loving seal can only be spotted in Lake Saimaa, where it became isolated from other seals at the end of the Ice Age.

Our expert Seal Guide knows all the prime spots for seal-watching! Join us on a Seal Safari to Linnansaari National Park, where you'll explore the labyrinthine archipelago, home to these fascinating creatures. Our guide will lead you to the best vantage points to spot Saimaa Ringed Seals resting on rocky shores, as well as other park inhabitants like ospreys, waterfowl, and occasionally beavers.

After the morning excursion, enjoy coffee with a savoury treat on shore. For the evening trip, snacks will be provided. Seal sightings are timed to align with seals' daily routines - in the early summer mornings are perfect for observing seals sunbathing on the rocks, while later in summer sunsets offer the best opportunities for sightings.

Tonight you will indulge in a culinary journey at the resort's restaurant enjoying a 6 course chef's menu. With the chef's dedication to exceptional cuisine and craftsmanship, every meal promises to delight all your senses.

Day 4: Departure
